AIT Technician – Satellite Integration (Temporary)

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a temporary AIT Technician to join its Getafe (Madrid) satellite integration shopfloor. You will work on the thermomechanical and electrical integration of flight parts, supporting both assembly and functional testing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble sub‑assemblies and flight‑part elements according to engineering specifications.
• Update work orders and ensure all documentation reflects the tasks performed.
• Follow health & safety procedures and maintain required certifications.
• Participate in satellite integration campaigns, performing both electrical and mechanical integration tasks.
• Support testing activities and contribute to continuous improvement on the shopfloor.

Required profile

• Technical degree (FP) in electronics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or integration activities.
• Advanced level of English.
• High adaptability and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to travel for medium‑length stays (approximately 15 days).
