Digital Account Manager (German Speaker)

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for a Digital Account Manager in Barcelona. The role is designed as onsite, with the expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office and travel quarterly for business meetings. It covers managing a set of assigned or acquired accounts, building and forecasting the sales pipeline, working with outside sales, channel partners and end customers, and driving sales through to closure.

Key responsibilities

• Sell moderately complex solutions, products and services for assigned accounts according to defined account strategies and plans, either partnering with field sales or selling independently
• Create account plans for accounts of medium to high complexity
• Generate, qualify and review new leads, and work with partners and outside sales to ensure a smooth sales transaction
• Understand client requirements and position company solutions competitively to support retention
• Build a targeted sales pipeline and forecast data-driven sales activities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any field (IT or Business Administration preferred)
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience or equivalent
• Curious, eager to learn, ready to take decisions and responsibility
• Relationship selling and new business approach
