Head of DevOps

About the role

1inch is building a DeFi ecosystem that empowers users and builders to trade, hold and track digital assets. As Head of DevOps you will lead the transformation of traditional infrastructure support into a world‑class platform engineering function, enabling developers to deploy and manage services independently across multi‑cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a DevOps strategy aligned with 1inch’s business objectives.
• Lead, mentor and scale a high‑performing engineering team, fostering a culture of automation and accountability.
• Oversee multi‑cloud Kubernetes clusters and ensure all changes are managed via IaC and GitOps.
• Standardise deployment processes and build self‑service tools for secrets management and infrastructure provisioning.
• Define and implement SLIs, SLOs and SLAs to guarantee service stability and performance.
• Manage the full monitoring stack, incident response and post‑mortem processes.
• Enforce security‑by‑design principles and maintain compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Lead infrastructure consolidation initiatives and monitor cloud spend for cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps/Infrastructure, including 3+ years in a management role.
• Proven track record scaling DevOps teams in fast‑paced, high‑growth tech environments.
• Strong leadership, strategic vision and ability to drive cross‑functional collaboration.

• Kubernetes (cluster management, networking, security)

• Service mesh and microservices architecture
