Sales Development Representative (SDR) - DACH

About the role

Abacum, a business planning software company founded in 2020 by two former CFOs, is hiring a native German-speaking Sales Development Representative to join its go-to-market team in Barcelona. You will work in a small, focused DACH pod alongside a German-speaking teammate, calling prospects in their own language to help grow the business across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify potential customers across the DACH region
• Run outbound campaigns in German and English using phone, email and social touches
• Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns and events in the region
• Understand prospect needs and articulate the value Abacum provides
• Meet and exceed individual and team goals while shaping the approach to the DACH market
• Maintain accurate prospect and activity data in the CRM (Salesforce)

Required profile

• Native-level German (written and spoken) and professional working proficiency in English
• Outbound SDR/BDR experience with cold calling, ideally at a B2B SaaS company; years of experience not required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, evolving environment and to own your results in a small team
• Based in Barcelona and able to work hybrid from the office 3 days a week; fully remote candidates are not eligible
