Senior Analytics Engineer

About the role

We run hundreds of A/B tests and generate massive tutor‑learner interaction data. As a Senior Analytics Engineer you will shape critical data models, streamline pipelines, and optimize our analytics stack to empower decision‑making across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and evolution of complex data models ensuring clarity, scalability and reliability.
• Develop and optimise sophisticated ETL/ELT pipelines within a multi‑terabyte ecosystem.
• Own and enhance the BI layer (Looker via LookML) for intuitive, performant self‑service analytics.
• Provide technical leadership to data‑science teams, reducing redundancy and enforcing robust data governance.
• Champion engineering best practices such as advanced version control, CI/CD pipelines and automated data‑quality monitoring.
• Drive initiatives that ensure data reliability, cleanliness, accuracy and comprehensive documentation.
• Influence company‑wide data strategies supporting rapid product growth, experimentation and personalization.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in analytics or data engineering.
• Expert proficiency in SQL and Python with a proven track record designing and optimising data models.
• Deep understanding of advanced data‑governance frameworks, modelling best practices and scalable self‑service analytics platforms.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills to influence stakeholders on complex topics.
• Strategic mindset, creativity and initiative‑driven approach to develop cutting‑edge solutions.
• Fluent English (C1 level or above) with the ability to articulate complex data concepts.
