Senior Full‑Stack Engineer – CRM

About the role

Join Preply’s CRM team to build and scale the communications platform that reaches millions of learners and tutors worldwide. You will work in a cross‑functional environment, combining hands‑on development with technical leadership to deliver AI‑augmented automation and reliable campaign delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Evolve the communications stack, working with Braze, HTML templating and AI‑assisted workflows.
• Develop backend features using Python/Django and integrate third‑party services.
• Build and improve frontend experiences in React/TypeScript, including experimentation frameworks.
• Lead complex initiatives from discovery through deployment, owning solutions throughout their lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers, conduct architectural reviews and promote best practices across the team.
• Partner with product, data and UX to identify opportunities, run experiments and measure impact.
• Shape architectural direction for scalable, reliable and maintainable systems.
• Navigate ambiguity, evaluate trade‑offs and align technical investments with business goals.
• Influence technical direction beyond the immediate squad and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Continuously raise the quality bar through craftsmanship, curiosity and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Full‑stack expertise, comfortable building backend services in any major language and developing front‑end features.
• Proven track record of building internal tooling or automation adopted daily by engineers.
• Experience delivering production‑ready email templates and understanding rendering constraints.
• Advanced AI usage, employing Agentic AI as a thought partner and implementing safety nets.
• Design and evolve large‑scale web applications, APIs and distributed systems.
• Technical leadership with influence on architectural decisions and engineering standards.
• Product‑mindset able to translate ambiguous business challenges into data‑driven solutions.
• Proactive problem‑solver who knows when to involve others for maximum impact.
• Strong ownership, driving initiatives from concept to measurable outcomes.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, English level B2 or higher.
