Senior .NET Developer (Hybrid)

About the role

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Spain is hiring a Senior .NET Developer in its Malaga office, working in a hybrid setting. You will design and build large-scale web applications and SaaS solutions for global clients, collaborating with internationally distributed Agile teams and contributing to R&D, prototyping and continuous improvement. You will also help clients choose and implement the right technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Work on the full software development lifecycle, from design to delivery and maintenance, in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Design and implement new features and enhancements for existing applications
• Lead R&D for new libraries, components and technologies, and rapidly prototype new functionalities
• Review code, apply best practices, mentor junior developers and fix bugs to keep applications stable and performant
• Communicate with global stakeholders and customers, and handle technical queries from them
• Take part in Agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprint planning, grooming and demos

Required profile

• Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on software development experience
• Degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Proven experience developing large-scale web applications and SaaS solutions
• Strong experience with Microsoft web technologies: C# and .NET Core
• English, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in distributed, multicultural teams and a quality-oriented, ownership mindset

Required skills

• Ideal: expert-level Angular or React and TypeScript
• Solid experience with MS SQL / SQL Azure, EF 6, EF Core and MongoDB
• Nice to have: Azure services (Key Vault, Storage, Queues, Blob), unit testing (NUnit, Moq, Jest), Git or SVN, Azure DevOps, Jira or Asana, and cloud experience on Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
• Nice to have: responsive web design, HTML5, CSS and SCSS, REST APIs and JSON, Power BI
