3D Printing Competence Engineer (EMEA)

About the role

This role joins the customer support organization in EMEA as a Competence Center engineer. You will understand complex technical situations at customer sites, identify the required technical solutions and, occasionally, lead their implementation for enterprise-level end-customers. The position involves leadership in integration activities and planning for complex system environments, and contributes to organizational profitability by improving customer uptime, productivity and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Understand complex technical situations at customer sites and identify the required technical solutions
• Implement part or all of the technical solution in line with the technical department
• Develop detailed action plans based on broad knowledge of the organization's technology
• Offer technical support and expertise, giving insight into solution and integration opportunities for defined business segments
• Share technical knowledge across the organization and support teams
• Contribute to knowledge tools and communities, document project insights and encourage participation
• Engage in pre-sales activities with sales principals
• Create internal materials such as knowledge briefs and service delivery kit components
• Solve complex problems independently and lead moderate to high complexity projects with professionally written reports

Required profile

• Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related discipline, or commensurate experience
• Typically 3-5 years of experience, preferably in implementation consultancy, customer support or focused technology areas; an advanced degree with 2-3 years of experience is also acceptable
• Fluid English and 1-2 other European languages spoken

• Use of artificial intelligence, big data and knowledge of Python is valued

The schedule is full time with no shift premium (Spain); travel is 50%.
