Senior Frontend Engineer - Process Modeling Team

About the role

Celonis is a platform for industrializing Enterprise AI, built around the Celonis Context Model, a digital twin of the enterprise that combines process data, business knowledge and intelligence. Prisma is a newly formed team building the Modeling Library that powers Celonis' Process Modeling experiences, and it works closely with Product, UX and other engineering teams. As a Senior Software Engineer on Prisma, you will help build the Modeling library from the ground up, focusing on graph rendering, layout and interaction logic so users can model business processes clearly, even with large and complex datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build the core components of the Modeling library using TypeScript, Angular and HTML5.
• Solve complex visualization problems such as fast interactions, dynamic graph layouts and graph interactions.
• Use AI coding tools daily to speed up development on graph layout, rendering and interaction challenges.
• Collaborate with Product, UX and other engineering teams to turn modeling requirements into working features.
• Write clean, tested code and contribute to the team's technical decisions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
• A track record of owning complex visualization or graph-based systems end-to-end.
• Comfortable driving technical decisions and mentoring other engineers.
• Daily, hands-on use of AI coding tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) as part of the normal workflow.
• Based in or near Madrid, available to work on-site part of the week (hybrid role).
• Good written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Strong hands-on mastery of TypeScript, Angular and HTML5.
• Nice to have: experience with a graph layout library such as yFiles.
