5-Axis CNC Operator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join a leading aerospace manufacturing organization in Spain. The role involves operating and programming high‑precision CNC equipment to produce complex metallic aerospace components in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CNC machining centers, lathes and manual machines to manufacture precision parts.
• Set up and prepare equipment for production runs, selecting appropriate tools and parameters.
• Program and modify machining parameters directly on the machine using ISO code.
• Inspect and measure finished components against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Required profile

• Vocational qualification in Machining, Mechanical Manufacturing or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial machining experience.
• Strong background operating CNC lathes, machining centers and multi‑axis (3‑axis and preferably 5‑axis) equipment.
• Ability to program directly at the machine using ISO programming.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts when required.

Required skills

• CNC operation of 5‑axis machines.
• ISO CNC programming.
• Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain or Okuma control systems.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
• Machining of aluminum, stainless steel, copper, titanium and high‑nickel alloys.
