Accounting Technician – Outsourced Admin & Finance (Hybrid)

About the role

EY GDS Spain is looking for an Accounting Technician to provide outsourced administration and finance services, covering accounting, billing, customer and supplier management, treasury and tax preparation and filing. The role is based in the GDS office in Malaga and is offered in a hybrid format. You will join a team working on projects with new technologies and approaches, supporting clients in choosing the right business solution and taking part in digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and verify incoming invoices, resolve discrepancies and handle payments
• Prepare adhesion contracts, manage billing and register information in the accounting system
• Post invoices issued and received and reconcile accounting accounts
• Manage purchase orders: create them, register requests, monitor them and handle supplier incidents
• Carry out reconciliations and bank positions
• Provide back-office treasury services (guarantee management, cash management and reporting)
• Execute and review accounting closures under the Spanish PGC
• Prepare and present taxes (VAT, CIT, withholding tax, Intrastat, etc.)
• Update master data in systems such as SAP and billing programs

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics or similar
• Professional experience in accounting process outsourcing projects
• Experience preparing financial closings, submitting taxes and preparing CCAA and LLOO
• Good oral and written English; a high level of English is positively valued
• Teamwork, analytical thinking, proactivity and problem-solving

Required skills

• Advanced command of office tools (Excel, Outlook, databases)
• Experience in financial closings, tax filing and reporting
• Nice to have: user-level experience with SAP, Dynamics 365 and business intelligence tools
