- Review, investigate and resolve escalated invoice discrepancies, blocked invoices, payment issues and vendor queries.
- Support payment cycles in line with internal controls, company policies and agreed service levels.
- Maintain oversight of vendor accounts and AP aging to reduce backlogs and follow up on outstanding items.
- Act as the main point of contact for EMEA AP during regional business hours.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, vendors and the BPO provider to improve transaction flow.
- Monitor AP performance metrics and service levels, and support improvement actions.
- Maintain SOPs, process documentation and work instructions, and share knowledge within the AP team.
- Take part in system enhancements, testing, process transitions and continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in accounts payable or procure to pay, preferably in a shared service center.
- Experience in a shared services and/or outsourced BPO environment.
- English written and verbal communication; ability to work across countries, functions and cultures.
Required skills
- Hands-on SAP or similar ERP experience.
- Understanding of end-to-end AP processes, controls and reconciliation.
- Month-end close and AP reporting support.
- Analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred: experience across multiple EMEA countries, VAT and indirect tax knowledge, KPI/SLA monitoring, exposure to process improvement or automation, and audit request support. MiniMed offers a competitive salary and a flexible benefits package.
