AI & Automation Intern

About the role

HP is looking for a growth mindset Partner AI and Automation Intern to join its Partner AI Automation team in Barcelona. The internship is paid, runs from February to June-July 2027 and lasts between 4 and 12 months, with flexible schedules of 4 or 8 hours per day. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Spanish university, stay enrolled until the end of the internship, and be able to sign an internship agreement with their university.

Key responsibilities

• Research and evaluate AI, automation, data and technology solutions, then drive selected initiatives from requirements and design through MVP, validation, implementation and continuous improvement, working with SMEs, developers, data analysts and business stakeholders.
• Identify repetitive manual work and help develop automation solutions that improve efficiency, data accuracy and scalability.
• Partner with colleagues across functions to turn their needs into practical analytics and digitalization solutions.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Engineering, Maths or a similar field.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Growth mindset, analytical and critical thinking, creativity and problem solving, strategic and systems thinking, and emotional intelligence.

Required skills

• High usage of ChatGPT, MS Copilot, Claude and Perplexity.
• Prompt design.
