AI Content Expert - Artificial General Intelligence

About the role

A fixed-term contract position for an AI Content Expert II within the Data Team, based in Barcelona. The role supports annotations, content generation and data analysis, delivering high-quality training data to improve and expand Large Language Models' (LLMs) capabilities. The team works strictly in the office Monday through Friday with an eight-hour shift.

Key responsibilities

• Create and annotate high-quality complex training data in multiple modalities (text, image, video) on topics including technical or science-related content.
• Write grammatically correct texts in different styles with varying degrees of creativity, following provided guidelines.
• Perform audits and quality checks of tasks completed by other specialists when required.
• Make sound judgments and logical decisions when facing ambiguous or incomplete information, and solve problems independently.
• Identify and report tooling bugs and suggest improvements.
• Work closely with scientists and engineers to review and update guidelines, find tooling improvements and discuss data quality.

Required profile

• High-school or equivalent diploma.
• Proven experience with written-language data, including annotation and other data markup.
• Dutch and English at C1 level, with excellent writing, reading and comprehension skills.
• Strong understanding of Dutch and U.S. culture, society and norms.
• Strong research skills, attention to detail and ability to focus for long periods.
• Ability to adapt writing style to different guidelines and customers, and to fast-paced environments.
• Preferred: bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, experience creating complex data for LLM training and evaluation, and familiarity with LLMs.

Required skills

• Preferred: command-line interfaces and basic UNIX commands.
• Preferred: HTML, XML, Markdown, JSON, CSV, RTF.
• Preferred: Python or another scripting language, regular expressions.
