AI & Data Science Internship Program – Barcelona

About the role

AstraZeneca's Global Hub, a biopharmaceutical company, offers an internship program in AI and data roles across its teams, based in Barcelona. The program lasts 6 to 12 months, is full-time and focuses on topics such as machine learning, data science, AI engineering, data engineering, operational analytics, bioinformatics and clinical data management.

Key responsibilities

• Support AI and data projects and tasks within your assigned team.
• Help organize AI- and data-focused training events and workshops.
• Collaborate with colleagues on machine learning, data analysis and bioinformatics activities.
• Contribute to preparing AI- and data-related reports and presentations.
• Take part in team meetings and share insights and feedback on AI, data innovations and strategies.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics or a related field.
• Academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or similar.
• Strong interest in AI, machine learning, data science and biopharmaceutical research.
• Proactive and eager to learn.
