AI Engineer - Data Analytics, Machine Learning and Generative AI

About the role

Linde Material Handling, part of the KION Group since 2006, is looking for an AI Engineer in Barcelona (Zona Franca). The role designs, builds and deploys solutions in data analytics, machine learning and generative AI for internal and external customers, working in interdisciplinary teams with data scientists, data engineers, business units, UX designers and IT.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy AI solutions for complex real-world problems
• Apply machine learning and generative AI models to end-to-end solution building
• Build MLOps on Azure and GCP and CI/CD pipelines
• Handle AI model review, code refactoring, containerization, deployment, versioning and monitoring
• Validate AI models, run tests and automate integration
• Work with data scientists, data engineers, business units, UX designers and IT departments

Required profile

• Degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or a comparable field
• More than 3 years of professional experience
• Ability to design, implement and maintain AI applications on Azure and GCP, including performance and cost monitoring and optimization
• Strong experience with end-to-end AI/ML solutions
• Ability to build data and MLOps pipelines, with experience of frameworks such as MLflow and Kubernetes
• Experience with RAG architectures monitored via LLM observability platforms (e.g. Langfuse)
• Ability to develop and deploy agentic AI solutions (e.g. ADK) to automate workflows
• Fluent English, strong analytical skills and good communication skills
