About the role

Join Airbus for an 11‑month, full‑time internship in Sevilla, focused on applying artificial intelligence to logistics and supply‑chain processes. You will work on real‑world challenges, designing AI‑driven tools that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support sustainable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop space‑utilisation algorithms to optimise warehouse floor and rack usage.
• Create intelligent receiving and put‑away suggestions based on turnover rates and product compatibility.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose AI‑powered automation for logistics flows.
• Implement machine‑learning models for route optimisation using real‑time traffic and historical data.
• Build an AI‑powered chatbot for natural‑language queries within the internal ERP system.
• Design predictive models for demand forecasting and seasonal volume spikes.
• Automate document processing with OCR and NLP for shipping manifests and invoices.
• Develop sustainability analytics to calculate and minimise carbon footprints of logistics routes.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (BSc/MSc) in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with interest in supply‑chain and logistics.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
