AI Technical Product Owner - Digital Workplace

About the role

Roche is looking for an AI Technical Product Owner for its Digital Workplace in Madrid. The role shapes and drives the AI direction across Digital Workplace, connecting employee productivity and experience needs with emerging AI capabilities and enterprise AI strategy. It combines deep AI technical expertise, strategic thinking, strong Product Ownership and Agile execution, and works closely with AI experts, architects, engineers, Product Owners and enterprise stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and drive the AI direction across Digital Workplace, defining priorities, opportunities and roadmaps.
• Identify high-value opportunities where AI can reimagine how employees work, augment and automate work, improve access to knowledge and simplify digital interactions.
• Develop a cross-functional view of AI needs, identifying common and reusable AI capabilities.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and help shape technology and architecture choices, balancing innovation with scalability, security and Responsible AI.
• Translate strategy and customer needs into product vision, roadmaps, epics, features and prioritized backlogs.
• Drive Agile delivery as Product Owner, owning prioritization and product decisions from discovery through MVP, industrialization and adoption.
• Partner with Product Owners and teams to coordinate cross-functional AI initiatives and act as a customer-facing product partner.
• Build alignment across enterprise AI, architecture, engineering, data, security, privacy, legal, compliance and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in AI and emerging technologies, with strong Product Owner/Product Management expertise.
• Ability to move from AI strategy and architecture discussions to product decisions, backlog prioritization and delivery.
• Strong customer orientation, stakeholder management and communication skills with senior stakeholders and technical teams.

Required skills

• Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents and agentic workflows, orchestration, RAG/grounding, enterprise search and AI integration patterns.
• Enterprise architectures, APIs and connectors, identity and access, security, privacy and AI governance.
• Agile/Scrum and backlog management.
