Air Conditioning and Oxygen Systems Engineer (Military Derivatives)

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an Air Conditioning and Oxygen Systems Engineer to join the Environmental and Crew Systems team in the TADYX5 group in Getafe. The team covers crew support and air systems for military platforms, including pneumatic, air conditioning, ice protection, oxygen and crew escape systems, and is a reference in international program consortia such as EF and A400M. The job holder supports the full development life cycle, from requirement analysis and system definition through development, integration and certification/qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out the technical activities of the development life cycle needed to meet regulatory and program requirements
• Contribute to checkpoints and reviews, including development logic, architecture, verification and qualification
• Define interfaces between functions and systems and ensure they are implemented consistently
• Verify that system requirements are fully met and that the product complies with airworthiness regulations and safety standards
• Support production, reception flight testing and delivery

Required profile

• Ideally 3-5 years of engineering experience
• Aeronautical or industrial engineering degree
• Previous experience in defence programs (e.g. EF2000)
• Experience in transnational environments and consortia
• Spanish and English at negotiation level

Required skills

• Good knowledge of the systems development process
• Knowledge of fluid dynamics
• Ability to manage technical interfaces, stakeholders and suppliers
