ASO Specialist

About the role

Socialpoint, a mobile game studio owned by Zynga and Take-Two Interactive, is looking for an ASO Specialist in Barcelona. The role drives organic growth of its mobile games on the App Store and Google Play by optimising store listings, testing visual assets and analysing performance metrics, working closely with marketing, product and creative teams.

Key responsibilities

• Research, define and implement ASO strategies for organic growth on the App Store and Google Play
• Optimise and test visual assets for app store listings to improve conversion rates
• Create content and creative briefs for the content and art teams
• Schedule and run tests across multiple platforms
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams and coordinate the promotion of in-game events and features in app stores
• Manage custom product pages for iOS and Android and measure their results
• Track and analyse key performance metrics and research competitors and ASO trends

Required profile

• Proven ASO experience and knowledge of the mobile gaming marketing landscape
• Analytical mind able to spot patterns and trends
• Creative thinker who can guide designers and copywriters
• Ability to work independently and with precision
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex analysis to C-level stakeholders

Required skills

• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of other BI tools such as Looker or Tableau is beneficial
• Bonus: ASO experience for mobile games, Apple Search Ads or other UA networks, and a background in data analysis
