Audit Assistant (FSO FP) - Hybrid

About the role

EY GDS Spain is looking for an audit assistant (Staff/Assistant) to join its team in the Malaga office. You will support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation, working on projects with the newest technologies and approaches. The position is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of audit, reporting and documentation.
• Identify potential audit issues or unusual relationships based on data and analysis of financial statements.
• Assist in applying accounting and auditing concepts during audit work and check the accuracy of reports and documentation.
• Document the execution of specific audit procedures, controls and processes.
• Assist in creating audit and accounting client deliverables.

Required profile

• Vocational training with a basic understanding of accounting.
• 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience in basic accounting.
• English language skills.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and strong logical and reasoning skills.
• Ability to work in a team, multi-task, stay flexible and work under pressure.
• Commitment to continuous learning and proactive implementation of new processes.

Required skills

• Ideally: good SAP knowledge.
• Ideally: very good knowledge of the MS Office package.
