Ayudante de Camarero/a – Waiter Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Waiter Assistant to join the service team at Barceló Lanzarote Mar. The role involves delivering high‑quality food and beverage service to guests in a dynamic hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute food and beverage service and sales autonomously and responsibly.
• Welcome guests, seat them when required and provide direct assistance during their dining experience.
• Prepare, set up and dismantle service areas, including arranging tables and chairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment to ensure smooth service flow.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in Hospitality (Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio en Hostelería) with HACCP (APPCC) certification.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Knowledge of mixology and restaurant operations is valued.
• Team‑player with ability to work under pressure, good personal image and strong customer orientation.
