Waiter/Waitress – Beach Resort

About the role

We are looking for a motivated waiter/waitress to join the food and beverage team at Barceló Teguise Beach, a beach resort in Las Palmas. The role involves serving guests, ensuring high‑quality service, and supporting restaurant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute qualified, autonomous, and responsible service and sale of food and beverages.
• Greet guests and seat them when necessary.
• Provide direct customer service during food and beverage consumption.
• Prepare, set up and dismantle service areas, including arranging tables and chairs.
• Maintain, clean and prepare work areas and equipment for service.

Required profile

• Medium‑level hospitality training (Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio en Hostelería) and HACCP (APPCC) training.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position.
• High level of English.
• Knowledge of cocktail preparation, restaurant and hospitality operations is valued.
• Ability to work in a team, tolerate stress, and stay agile and balanced.
• Well‑groomed personal image and good social skills.
• Customer‑oriented attitude.
