Bench Integration & Commissioning Engineer (HV Test Platform)

About the role

Airbus UpNext Spain is building a state‑of‑the‑art high‑voltage test facility to accelerate aircraft electrification. As a Bench Integration & Commissioning Engineer you will lead the creation, integration and commissioning of this cutting‑edge test bench, turning concepts into a fully operational platform.

Key responsibilities

• Physically and logically integrate hardware such as programmable power sources, electronic loads, measurement instrumentation and support systems.
• Perform initial power‑up, troubleshoot, and fine‑tune the bench to meet safety and performance specifications.
• Configure local and remote control interfaces and assist in linking PLC, LabVIEW or MATLAB/Simulink models with the hardware.
• Oversee or execute low‑voltage wiring, sensor connections and signal routing to ensure signal integrity.
• Define and run acceptance test protocols to validate bench performance before regular operation.

Required profile

• Proven track record in test‑bench development, commissioning or system integration within aerospace, automotive or related industries.
• Experience working in fast‑paced, agile project environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt responsibilities as the project evolves.
