Brand Communication Consultant – Madrid

About the role

Burson, part of WPP, is seeking a Brand Communication Consultant to join its Madrid office. You will work with a global communications leader, helping brands shape reputation and drive engagement through strategic PR and influencer initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day client accounts and nurture relationships.
• Develop and execute PR strategies and communication plans for existing and new business.
• Build and maintain media relationships, especially in lifestyle sectors such as fashion, beauty, and music.
• Lead influencer marketing campaigns, including identification, performance analysis, contract negotiations, and briefing development.
• Coordinate user‑generated content initiatives and brand ambassador programmes.
• Plan and deliver events, product launches, and brand activations.
• Collaborate with media relations teams to secure coverage and enhance brand visibility.
• Identify opportunities that increase client visibility, engagement, and business impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an agency or consumer/lifestyle/brand PR team.
• Strong interest and experience in influencer marketing, including use of discovery tools and campaign metrics.
• Excellent spoken and written English (C1 level or above).
• Proactive, responsible, creative, and solutions‑oriented with the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
