About the role

Julius Baer is looking for a Business Analyst in Madrid to analyse business processes, identify areas for improvement and design solutions that enhance business performance. The role works with stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements, define scope and make sure project deliverables meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the needs and issues of the organisation or business domain.
• Specify and document new business processes or systems.
• Integrate business processes and needs into technical solutions within time and budget constraints so the Scrum team can meet its objectives.
• Work with senior business stakeholders to understand the organisation's structures, business and operating model and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Validate business requirements by writing test cases, test procedures and user acceptance tests.
• Keep relevant business stakeholders involved throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software delivery projects.
• Experience working in a global environment with distributed teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; self-motivated, team-oriented and able to manage change and challenge the status quo.
• Conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, with data-driven decision-making and the ability to prioritise and make trade-offs.
