About the role

Julius Baer is hiring a full-time Business Analyst in Madrid. The role analyses business processes, identifies areas for improvement and designs solutions that enhance business performance, collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements, define scope and make sure project deliverables meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the needs and issues of the organisation or business domain.
• Specify and document new business processes or systems.
• Integrate business processes and needs into technical solutions within time and budget constraints so the Scrum team can meet its objectives.
• Work with senior business stakeholders to understand the organisation's structures, business and operating model and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Validate business requirements by writing test cases, test procedures and user acceptance tests.
• Keep relevant business stakeholders involved throughout the whole project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software delivery projects.
• Ability to work in a global environment with distributed teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; self-motivated, team-oriented and able to drive and manage change.
• Conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of prioritising and making trade-offs.
