Business Analyst - Derivatives Programmes (Temporary)

About the role

A temporary business analyst position is open within Airbus Defence & Space's Digital Support Center and Services (TDBSC) in Getafe, Madrid. The TDBSC delivers digital systems and IT activities for the Asset Readiness Support Center, which provides reliable integrated product support for customers and aircraft. The role acts as the bridge between operational stakeholders and technical development teams, defining the business requirements for digital successor tools for programmes such as PATMAR, MRTT+, A321 AEW&C and others.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct discovery meetings to capture the customer's complex business requirements and operational objectives, with recommendations on automation.
• Identify areas for improvement in business processes and propose IT solutions compliant with the IT strategy.
• Support the IT Product Manager in product/service planning based on customer requirements.
• Document current challenges, future requirements and benefits in a way suited to the customer.
• Define and develop specification documents to be reviewed with stakeholders and the product team.
• Monitor external business trends to strengthen the business requirements.
• Act as liaison between Product Management teams and technical resources during development and implementation.

Required profile

• Degree in a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in the area.
• Knowledge of scientific and technological laboratories.
• English knowledge.
