Business Transformation Intern (MBA)

About the role

FTI Consulting, a global expert firm for organizations facing crisis and transformation, is offering a summer internship in its Business Transformations team, between June and August 2027. The internship suits innovative, collaborative and motivated students who want to take ownership while learning in a tight-knit team. You will work alongside experienced consultants who mentor you in identifying challenges, performing in-depth analysis and generating insights that shape strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support live projects, interacting with team members, professionals from other firms involved in the engagement and client personnel.
• Apply business, strategy, finance and analytical skills to client situations, such as market sizing, market modelling, strategic planning and assessing business plans.
• Help develop strategic plans, business transformations and the integration of companies.
• Draft client presentations on project scope, findings and results as needed.
• Assist in developing pitch books and other marketing materials.
• Conduct research on public and private companies and various industries.

Required profile

• Studying towards an MBA degree, with graduation in 2027 or 2028.
• At least three years of work experience desired in a financial, analytical, business or commercial role.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, oral and written.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the full duration of the internship.
• Ability to travel to clients and FTI Consulting offices.
