Buyer – Global Procurement Central Services (French)

About the role

Amazon is expanding rapidly and seeks a French‑fluent Buyer to join the Global Procurement Central Services (GPCS) team in Barcelona. You will work cross‑functionally with internal Amazon teams and external suppliers to source and manage non‑inventory goods and services for Fulfilment Centres, Amazon Transport Services and Quick Commerce networks.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and create purchase orders for non‑inventory materials based on demand forecasts.
• Coordinate truck deliveries, communicate delivery slots with suppliers and ensure on‑time receipt at FC, ATS and QC sites.
• Act as escalation point for internal and external stakeholders to resolve delivery issues.
• Process SIM tickets, invoice queries and maintain supplier master data.
• Collaborate with Operations and Stores to mitigate space constraints and improve supply‑chain efficiency.
• Track procurement metrics such as cost savings, zero stock‑out, Days of Cover and project objectives.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and provide training to other cluster buyers.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English.
• Experience in procurement or supply‑chain operations, preferably with non‑inventory items.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
