About the role

Join the Barceló team as a Waiter at the Occidental Roca Negra Hotel in Las Palmas. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality food and beverage service to guests in a dynamic, hospitality‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute qualified, autonomous, and responsible service and sale of food and beverages.
• Welcome guests, guide them to their tables and ensure comfortable seating.
• Provide direct assistance to guests during food and beverage consumption.
• Prepare, set up and dismantle service areas, including arranging tables, chairs and related equipment.
• Maintain, clean and ready all work areas and tools required for smooth service delivery.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in Hospitality (Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio).
• Formal training in HACCP (APPCC) food‑safety standards.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar waiter or food‑service role.
• High proficiency in English.
• Team‑player attitude with ability to work under pressure.
• Professional appearance and strong customer‑orientation.

Required skills

• HACCP certification or training.
