About the role
Hexcel, a global leader in advanced composite materials including carbon fiber, resins, prepregs and honeycombs, is looking for a chemical lab technician for its Parla site in Spain. The person selected will carry out mechanical testing and related laboratory tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and store test material
- Issue worksheets
- Prepare panels, vacuum bags, cure specimens, machine them and prepare test samples according to specifications
- Enter data into the LIMS to issue the Certificate of Analysis
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Analyze the results obtained against the reference population
Required profile
- Valuable experience in a mechanical testing laboratory
- Eligibility to work in the country where the position is based
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of Windows
- Internal learning
