Client Services Representative

About the role

TransPerfect is hiring a Client Services Representative in Barcelona to join its TechOps Support team, which provides first-line support for end users (internal and client) of GlobalLink, a growing suite of web-based applications. The role is entry-level, with a career path within Level 1 support, training or long-term positions in cross-functional development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and manage requests on helpdesk software
• Provide phone support for users calling the support line
• Manage individual projects on GlobalLink applications, including working with administrators to set up sites, train end users and maintain them
• Work with teammates to handle high volumes of requests within SLAs
• Communicate internationally with teammates and users
• Perform User Acceptance Testing on features relevant to application administrators and give feedback

Required profile

• Experience in customer service
• Superior written and spoken English
• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Ability to learn quickly how to support TransPerfect Interactive's web-based applications
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, work with diverse people and cultures, build client and colleague relationships, work independently and as part of a team, and solve problems proactively

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems
• Desired: experience supporting web-based applications or another help desk role
• Desired: proficiency with Mac OS
• Desired: professional-level Spanish (preferred but not required)
