Cocinero/a para Hotel Occidental Roca Negra

About the role

Barceló is looking for a motivated cook to join the kitchen team at Hotel Occidental Roca Negra. You will work under the Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and the delivery of high‑quality meals to hotel guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes according to the technical sheets of the established menu.
• Ensure the kitchen runs efficiently under the supervision of the Head Chef.
• Assist with cost control, inventory management and purchasing activities.
• Participate in cleaning, preservation, cooking, regeneration and restocking of food items.
• Support receipt and storage of food supplies following established standards and orders.
• Carry out tasks in compliance with current safety, hygiene legislation and internal procedures.

Required profile

• Higher‑level vocational training in Cooking and Gastronomy.
• Completed HACCP (food safety) course.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen role.
• No language requirement.
• Team‑oriented attitude, creativity, stress tolerance and problem‑solving ability.
• Attention to detail and meticulous work habits.
