About the role

Barceló Hotel Group is looking for a motivated cook to join its kitchen team in the province of Alicante. You will work under the Head Chef, preparing dishes according to the established menu specifications and ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes based on the technical sheets of the set menu.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and report to the Head Chef.
• Assist in cost control, inventory management and purchasing activities.
• Participate in cleaning, preservation, cooking, regeneration and replenishment of food items.
• Support the receipt and storage of food supplies following established norms and orders.
• Carry out tasks in compliance with current safety and hygiene legislation.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior) in Cooking and Gastronomy.
• Completed HACCP (APPCC) course.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen role.
• No language requirement.
• Knowledge of the hospitality sector is valued.
• Ability to work in a team, handle stress, solve unexpected issues and perform tasks meticulously.
