Country Manager, Spain

About the role

Finceptiv, a fintech company founded in Estonia in 2018 and operating several brands in Spain, Poland, Romania and Mexico, is looking for a Country Manager based in Spain. The role is a contractor position focused on growing market share and revenue by managing the Spanish market, developing new business lines and strengthening relationships with existing partners. Experience in the financial sector is required, and extensive training is provided at the start.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and business development with financial institutions, securing new deals and developing opportunities with existing partners
• Represent the company in the Spanish market, including engagement with industry associations and conferences
• Travel to meet partners in Spain
• Analyse the market continuously and optimise partner profitability through back-office operations
• Share market insights with other teams and coordinate marketing activities
• Complete ad hoc reports and handle back-office tasks such as configuring links and implementing price changes on schedule
• Assist with monthly billing by verifying results and sending report data to accounting
• Communicate with the IT team on potential features and give product feedback

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in the financial sector
• Excellent English
• Ability and willingness to understand IT solutions, including the logic of integrations and how APIs work, so they can be explained and sold
