Credit & Collection Manager (Temporary)

About the role

Veolia Water Tech, within its Administration & Finance team, is looking for a temporary Credit & Collection Manager in Rivas-Vaciamadrid. You will take part in the collections process, accounting controls and account verification, and help develop the company's internal control plan.

Key responsibilities

• Set customer credit limits.
• Organize claims and monitor customer debts.
• Handle the administrative processing of collections received.
• Reconcile and monitor intercompany customer debtor accounts.
• Prepare collection and debt reports for management.
• Prepare the bad debt provision.
• Provide telephone support to customers.
• Collaborate on the computerization and automation of administrative procedures.
• Provide information to external and internal auditors (HQ).

Required profile

• Degree in administration or similar, or higher technical training.
• At least 10 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in a multinational company.
• Basic knowledge of general accounting.
• English at intermediate level (reading and writing); Spanish bilingualism is mandatory.

Required skills

• Spreadsheets, preferably Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of global ERPs.
