Customer Support Agent – French Market

About the role

Join SumUp’s international Customer Support team as the primary point of contact for French‑speaking merchants. Based in the vibrant Barcelona headquarters, you will help entrepreneurs solve problems, grow their businesses, and enjoy a smoother daily experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line assistance to French merchants via phone, email and chat.
• Prioritise, manage and resolve customer requests efficiently.
• Deliver high‑quality support across topics such as banking, invoicing, CNP and more.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth resolutions and continuous process improvement.
• Stay up‑to‑date with SumUp’s products and services to offer accurate guidance.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English (C1 level or higher).
• Passionate about helping people and solving problems.
• Curious and eager to learn about fintech trends and new tools.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Willing to work onsite in Barcelona and adapt to a rotating schedule.
