Cyber Resiliency Consultant

About the role

Kyndryl's Security & Resiliency practice ensures enterprises stay secure, available, reliable and resilient. It is looking for a Cyber Resiliency Consultant to support the design and implementation of high availability and recovery solutions across cloud and hybrid cloud environments, working with hyperscaler platforms, replication technologies and cyber resiliency solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in implementing and deploying solutions in Microsoft Azure and AWS environments.
• Design mission-critical solutions and help the team sell them to large corporations across different industries.
• Support cyber resiliency initiatives across cloud and hybrid architectures.
• Develop or execute recovery and resiliency runbooks.
• Work with multi-zone and multi-region deployment models and services.
• Contribute to projects involving native and third-party replication technologies.
• Support business continuity programs.

Required profile

• 5 to 8 years of professional experience.
• Engineering background with experience in cloud technologies and hyperscaler environments.
• Certifications or proven experience implementing and deploying solutions in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Knowledge of multi-zone and multi-region deployment models and services.
• Experience with native or third-party replication technologies such as Zerto or VMware vSphere Replication (VM2020).
• Intermediate knowledge of at least one cyber resiliency platform: Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity, Veeam, Veritas or Semperis.
• Strong English communication skills and availability for occasional travel.
• Based in Madrid or Barcelona; English and Spanish.

Preferred qualifications

• Background in hybrid and multi-platform architectures.
• Knowledge of or experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Experience with Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) and Cyber Recovery Plans, and with deploying or reviewing business continuity plans.
• Experience with orchestration processes for testing or recovery, or with AI agents that orchestrate them.
