- Design dimensional models, event schemas and slowly changing dimensions, and implement column-level security, row-level filtering or tag-based access control
- Mentor and lead junior and mid-level engineers, and partner with product management and security teams
Required profile
- 10+ years in data engineering roles, with significant experience in SaaS and multi-tenant data platforms
- Proven track record of mentoring team members on data platform projects
- Strong understanding of AWS services (VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, WAF, CloudTrail) and multi-account management with AWS Control Tower
- Good knowledge of IAM, KMS, encryption standards, NIST and other security compliance frameworks
- Excellent verbal and written communication, able to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
Required skills
- Expert knowledge of S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Glue, DataZone, Athena, Redshift Serverless and EventBridge
- Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD and GitHub Actions
- AWS CDK (TypeScript preferred) and CloudFormation
- OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch and CloudTrail
- Python or PySpark/Scala for ETL, feature extraction and data quality
- TypeScript and Bash scripting and automation
Working is on average a minimum of three days per week from the office, with flexibility. Applications close on 15 December 2026.
