Data Product Manager

About the role

HP is looking for a Data Product Manager in Sant Cugat del Valles who understands the data flow across the customer print hardware and HP Smart ecosystems. The role works in a cross-functional environment to turn real-time data into personalized customer experiences and communications, applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to automate experiences and build new insights. It is full time, with a hybrid work model depending on the role.

Key responsibilities

• Understand HP's product and services data ecosystem and define new requirements for future experiences
• Balance strategy, governance and implementation of data-related work and facilitate conversations among executives, engineers, analysts, product teams and external customers
• Work with CRM, product and service teams to define data and functional requirements for personalized experiences across all communication touchpoints
• Use AI and ML knowledge to define data products, schemas and models that automate scalable customer experiences
• Break down large data initiatives into agile stories and allocate resources for each
• Define a roadmap of data requirements for new features, and use feedback and sentiment data to map data personas and consumer profiles

Required profile

• Data Science or Engineering degree; MBA or business degree desired
• Ideally 10+ years of total experience, including 5 years in data product marketing/management
• Demonstrated knowledge of the general marketing function, through education or work experience

Required skills

• Expertise in data science, data manipulation, visualization and predictive analysis
• Strong foundation in analytics and metrics, and development of data schemas
• Segmentation and targeting strategies across a multichannel ecosystem
• Understanding of current data and privacy policies and their impact on customer engagement
• Working knowledge of semantic and knowledge graph technologies
• Organization, multitasking and communication skills
