Deal Strategy Manager
sprinklr
Job description
About the role
Sprinklr, an AI-native platform for Unified Customer Experience Management, is hiring a Deal Strategy Manager. The role is a trusted commercial partner to Sales and the quote-to-cash organization, helping structure complex and non-standard transactions that balance customer needs, growth, profitability, accounting requirements and operational scalability. It is an individual contributor role that also acts as a regional point of leadership, driving alignment and consistency across the team without formal people-management responsibility.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the EMEA Sales team on complex new business, renewals, expansions and strategic transactions, developing commercially sound deal structures.
- Analyze transactions at deal and line-item level, covering pricing, discounting, margin, cost-to-serve, quantities, contract term, ramp structure and renewal implications.
- Recommend non-standard commercial constructs and flag booking, ARR, revenue recognition, billing, credit, tax or contractual implications, coordinating reviews with Revenue, Accounting, Legal, Tax and Order Management.
- Work with Deal Operations, Revenue Operations and GTM Systems so approved decisions execute correctly in Salesforce CPQ and downstream systems, and keep quotes, order forms and terms accurate and aligned with approved offerings.
- Prepare decision materials for senior leaders and document decisions and exceptions with an auditable trail.
- Improve policy, approval routing, CPQ behavior, documentation and workflows, and create playbooks, pricing guidance and decision frameworks.
- Take part in deal reviews, forecast discussions, QBRs and strategic initiatives.
Required profile
- Experience in Deal Strategy, Deal Desk, Commercial Finance, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, FP&A or a comparable SaaS commercial role.
- Ability to analyze complex transactions, distinguish real economic or contractual risk from routine process issues, and communicate complex commercial and financial points clearly.
- Comfortable working independently across time zones, with strong judgment and clear, proactive communication.
- Fluent in English.
Required skills
- Understanding of SaaS metrics such as ARR, ACV, TCV, discounting, margin and bundling, and of bookings and revenue-recognition concepts.
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Excel and quote-to-cash systems.
- Strong analytical and financial-modelling skills.
- Desired: experience supporting global software sales teams, product commercialization, NPI and pricing governance, and informal leadership and coaching of team members.
