Digital Enablement Manager - Procurement

About the role

Roche's Global Diagnostics Procurement (DOP) is looking for a Digital Enablement Manager based in Sant Cugat, Spain. The role identifies and drives digital opportunities that improve process efficiency, acts as an ambassador for procurement digitization and provides strategic thought leadership in a global environment. It reports directly to the Digital & Process Management Lead and sits in the Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE), working with the DOP Leadership Team, categories, delivery, IT and external providers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and govern the digital enablement strategy, setting objectives, timelines and performance indicators.
• Evaluate emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning and RPA, run pilots and align initiatives across functions.
• Advise business units and IT on their priorities and foster collaboration on digital transformation.
• Lead the AI pipeline by coordinating or building AI solutions with RSS Demand to Pay and Roche Digital Technology.
• Showcase the ROI of digital initiatives through data-driven presentations, success stories and progress reports.
• Analyze procurement activities to find inefficiencies and prioritize areas for automation.
• Guide digital projects and deployments, liaising with external partners and promoting adoption through training and communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field; a Master's is preferred.
• 5-7 years in a digital transformation role, with at least 3 years in procurement.
• Proven track record of implementing procurement technologies and of persuading senior stakeholders.
• Business-level English fluency.

Required skills

• Familiarity with AI models and machine learning (e.g. LLMs, agentic engineering).
• Familiarity with e-procurement platforms, SRM systems and spend analytics.
• Project management, resource management and milestone tracking.
• Strong data analysis and matrix leadership skills.
