Early Career AOCS Engineer – Avionics (Madrid)

About the role

Join Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe as an Early Career AOCS Engineer. You will work within the Avionics engineering department, contributing to the design, analysis and validation of flight algorithms and hardware for both small studies and large missions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform AOCS/GNC design, implementation, verification and validation for mission phases 0 to E.
• Produce technical documentation such as design justifications, software requirements and performance analysis reports.
• Develop prototype software using Matlab/Simulink and, when required, C or Python.
• Support reviews, workshops and stakeholder meetings with customers and partners.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent in an aerospace discipline.
• Background in dynamics, filtering, estimation or control engineering.
• Experience participating in a GNC/AOCS project during any development or validation stage.
• Proficiency with Matlab and Simulink.
• Previous involvement with Airbus (e.g., traineeship) is a plus.
