English-Speaking Customer Service Representative – Benelux Market

About the role

Axalta is looking for an English-speaking Customer Service Representative to join its Netherlands Customer Service team, based at its facility in Asturias, Spain. The role suits a highly autonomous, solution-oriented and process-driven professional who can handle several tasks at once, from active phone calls to SAP and Salesforce data management, while following company procedures and meeting team KPIs. After an initial training period, you will quickly become independent, own your accounts and activities and proactively solve problems for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for key Netherlands customers, distributors and internal stakeholders, keeping them informed about order delays caused by supply, production or logistics issues.
• Manage the full order process from inquiry to delivery, verify orders and perform quality checks, monitoring open orders daily.
• Follow procedures such as QS 9000 and ISO, support team KPIs (order accuracy, response times, OTIF) and handle complaints and returns.
• Maintain customer master data, support cash collection and credit holds, and help resolve credit issues such as invoice adjustments and debit/credit notes.
• Monitor sales against forecasts, support account reporting and volume tracking, and back up Junior and Senior CSRs when needed.

Required profile

• Fluent English is essential; Dutch, French or another European language is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a senior profile is preferred but junior applicants with a proactive attitude are welcome.
• Background in planning or logistics is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP and Salesforce is beneficial but not mandatory, as is training.
• Excel is beneficial but not mandatory.
