German Speaking Customer Service Representative

About the role

Axalta, a coatings company with a global presence, is looking for a German-speaking Customer Service Representative to join its facility in Asturias (Spain). The role receives and processes customer orders and provides service information to external or potential customers, including complex and export orders, so that customers are satisfied.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for existing and potential external customers and as a subject-matter expert for internal escalations.
• Manage customer service inquiries and receive and process regular and complex orders.
• Proactively notify customers about late orders caused by product availability or transportation issues.
• Analyse root causes, solve problems and handle complaints and returns according to the Complaint Management process and return policies, covering deliveries, payments and invoices.
• Monitor open orders so deliveries arrive on time and perform quality control checks and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate customer master data, materials, invoicing, inventory, reconciliation and transfer pricing.
• Liaise with sales, logistics, supply chain, credit controllers, data management, carriers, the warehouse and customers.

Required profile

• 2 years of experience in a customer-oriented position.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
• Advanced fluency in German and English; professional French is a valuable asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Good knowledge of SAP is beneficial.
• Problem-solving, analysis, organisation, customer focus, active listening, communication, multitasking and quality orientation.
