Enterprise Account Manager

About the role

Adyen, a financial technology platform offering payments, data and financial products, is looking for a proactive, adaptable Enterprise Account Manager to join its Account Management team in Madrid. The role focuses on building strong relationships with international merchants, providing payments insights and driving commercial growth, with a hybrid workplace and some domestic and international travel.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong customer relationships and align external and internal stakeholders, and develop a global network of people within Adyen
• Drive commercial discussions and meet strategic and financial targets for assigned accounts
• Act as the human face of Adyen's product, giving expertise, education and payment guidance and using data to tell compelling stories
• Prioritize and execute short- and long-term projects across multiple accounts
• Be the voice of the customer internally and feed back to the team

Required profile

• Proven experience in the hospitality industry, with a track record of managing merchant relationships in the Portuguese market
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a client-facing, commercial role such as account management, consulting or payments (from the merchant side); experience in complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure or financial services is a bonus
• Full professional written and verbal Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus
• Hybrid workplace, no remote-only roles; some domestic and international travel required
