EU Proposal Developer for R&D Projects

About the role

AIMPLAS is looking for one professional to draft R&D&I projects within its Project Management and Coordination area. The R&D Specialist and EU Proposal Developer works closely with the Technology and Laboratory teams and builds partnerships with external stakeholders to form consortia and prepare proposals at European and national level.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and draft large-scale European and national proposals with AIMPLAS researchers, mainly for the European Commission Framework Programme and also the European Defence Fund, Digital Europe, LIFE, Interreg and PRIMA.
• Define the value chain roles needed to build competitive consortia.
• Establish strategic alliances with key European stakeholders.
• Advise researchers on project objectives, KPIs, alignment with EC funding topics, work packages and expected impact.
• Take part in events, information days and brokerage (B2B) networking activities.

Required profile

• High level of English and Spanish, spoken and written.
• Previous experience in R&D&I projects is desirable.
• Experience writing proposals for European Framework Programmes (Horizon Europe, H2020, LIFE, EDF, Interreg, PRIMA) and national bodies such as AEI and CDTI (e.g. Misiones, Cervera) is desirable.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
