Event & Communication Trainee

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is looking for an Event & Communication Trainee to join The Club, its centre of excellence for commercial discipline, in Madrid. The role supports the planning and execution of major corporate events such as the Revenue Strategy Days and helps with internal and external communications. It is a 6-month traineeship starting on 14 December, open to students enrolled in a school programme.

Key responsibilities

• Help organise the annual Revenue Strategy Days convention, including accommodation, conference facilities, evening venues and coordination with a local agency
• Manage communications with conference participants and speakers, including invitations, travel arrangements and queries
• Prepare marketing materials, social media content and email campaigns to promote the event
• Work with local suppliers and venues in Riga to manage bookings and logistics
• Contribute to internal and external communication initiatives, develop the LinkedIn community and create presentations, newsletters, videos and other visual assets
• Organise corporate events such as The Club Summer Camp, office gatherings and team-building activities, and support post-event evaluation

Required profile

• Student enrolled in a school programme (traineeship agreement required), preferably in Project Management, Business, Hospitality or Economics with good results
• Fluent English, written and spoken; another European language is a plus
• Eligible to work in the European Union (internship based in Madrid)
• Team player and good communicator, able to work remotely

Required skills

• Project coordination: managing several tasks, meeting deadlines, following checklists and escalating risks early
• Able to turn complex concepts into clear, engaging learning materials
