Head of Content (Temporary)

About the role

Red Bull España is looking for a strategic Head of Content in Madrid on a temporary basis. The role combines creativity, leadership and business vision: defining the content strategy, leading and developing the team, managing external partners and working cross-functionally to maximise impact.

Key responsibilities

• Define a focused content strategy aligned with business priorities, including audiences, narratives and success measures
• Lead creative development and storytelling, giving clear direction and feedback on content projects
• Lead end-to-end content projects with quality control, operational excellence and risk management
• Work with cross-functional teams to distribute content across channels and optimise it with performance insights
• Lead the Content team, set priorities and ensure continuity and smooth handovers during the assignment
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and handle the budget responsibly

Required profile

• At least 7 years as a Senior Content Executive or Executive Producer developing live and non-live content strategy
• University degree in Communications, Journalism, Film Studies or similar
• Experience managing multiple productions, budgets and partners
• Editorial expertise and knowledge of storytelling in long and short form programming
• Broad knowledge of media production methods and experience writing for television, filming, editing and production management
• Fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a large international organisation
